Strangebent: First Blog. How anti-climactic!

So this is it then? It's 2009. I've been an Artist now, a paid, self-employed and self-sufficient Artist that is, for NINE YEARS! (*) And this is my first Blog. Oh well, guess I couldn't put it off forever. Welcome to Strangebent, my Strange Studios Blog!

I guess I better start by introducing myself. Ben's the name. Benton Charles Warren. Born and raised in Palm Springs, Ca. Playground of the rich and the Super Rich. Where you can always tell the natives cuz we're the only ones without tans. (**)
With my partner Lisa Snellings,

I own and operate a small art studio called Strange Studios. It used to have another name but someone else liked it more than us.(***)
We make all kinds of cool and crazy stuff.

Some of it is for looking at.

Some of it is for touching.

And some of it is for thinking about. I like that kind. The kind you can't help BUT think about. I like telling stories without using words.(****) I like that I can have/will be having, a dialog with someone that I'll likely never even meet. My ideas interacting with theirs. Maybe years, even centuries after I'm gone... Also I'm a scorpio. And Ladies, I'm single...

It's good to do what you love. And I love being an artist. Hope you like my stuff as much as I like making it!

(*) And a bit maybe, but I only really dabbled before I started working with my Partner Lisa Snellings. She really opened my eyes to the fact that I only had to get off my ass to realize my dreams. Most people are blind to their opportunities and talents. I was just lazy! Thanks Lisa!
